Cecil Harding Lake... commonly called "Raccoon Lake" is located west of Indianapolis. This is a State own Reservoir known for it's record size Strippers. Lake size is 2,060 acre and loaded with good size Largemouth Bass. A Keeper size Bass is 16" or longer. They have a winter draw down as much as 20 feet. This is a great time to check out the lake to look for under water structure such as stumps and rock piles. I know I will be there to check it out.
Glenn Flint Lake - Located NW of Greencastle. This lake has been renovated in 1995, to removed large numbers of Carp. The lake size is 371 acres. Public entrance is located on road 450N. Indiana DNR manages this Lake as well as stocking... Bass size limit 14" or longer.
Heritage Lake is a 320 acre lake full of Bass. This is a Private lake members only. A wonder community who care about there Community, Lake and Fishery. This is my home Lake and enjoy a great living here. All though you may not get the great opportunity to fish this lake, we would like to share our experience with you. Hope you enjoy!
Patoka Lake Reservoir located 2 1/2 hours from Indianapolis. Lake size is 8,800 Acres also full of Largemouth Bass waiting to crush your top-water bait. This is a very popular Lake to host large scale Bass Fishing Tournaments just like the USA Bassin Regional. Limit size on Largemouth are 15" or longer.
